Sometimes, projects emerge unexpectedly. As you browse through your catalogue of photographs, a theme may reveal itself that you hadn’t noticed before. “Flat” is precisely that—a project born from a theme I inadvertently discovered running through more than a year of my work.

I have a deep appreciation for the flat plane of an ordinary scene, whether it’s a shadow on a wall, a window, or even just a door. This project is exactly that: ordinary things, captured head-on.
